Nothing Short of Amazing

I always tell people that MIT is the closest thing to being Hogwarts — Harry Potter’s wizarding school — in real life. " - Salman Khan, Taken from his 2012Commencement Speech at MIT

...After two years in my university, I still ask myself whether or not I would enjoy my life more if I were an MIT undergraduate.

But at the end of that question, a lot of excuses come up to why I'm not good enough to be one even though I believe in myself and my potential just as much as Mr.Khan, an inspiring person who gave this speech, believed in the graduates at MIT.

Right now, what I choose to believe...is different. I don't need MIT to be nothing short of amazing anymore since I know that I am pretty darn good. I still want to someday study at MIT

Home is where the heart is

An old saying I heard somewhere a long time ago and it sticks. I like it when that happens, but now it's just killing me where I actually heard it from. I hate it when that happens.

Now I'm home, but I won't be here for long. In fact, with my past 2 years spent mostly in Hong Kong, I'm starting to lose track of where home actually is. Whatever the case, the establishment which my butt lies, is under renovation needed after the flood this year. Workers moving in and out every single day and my room being taken apart and put together. I do have to say, I'm looking forward to going back to Hong Kong and stay at Hall 7, aka. the Friggin Hotel.

Two things I'm working on right now:

  • Java Programming for Android because that is what my research topic will need for my Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program. I will also get paid for that so hopefully, it will be fun.
  • Less Profanity... just because. I will attempt my best to sound like a regular gentleman.
That is all.
